In 1987, on the eve of Halloween, a maniac brutally murders three 16-year-old girls, stabbing each of them 16 times, and the crimes remain unsolved. Thirty-six years later, an unknown killer murders Jamie's mother and attacks Jamie herself, but during the assault Jamie is accidentally sent back to 1987. She sets out to stop the killer before the murder spree begins and save her mother.
