Frank Sheeran, known as “the Irishman,” seems at first to be an ordinary family man and World War II veteran living a quiet life. Beneath that surface, however, is a man whose fate became tied to organized crime, war, and violence that followed him into old age. In his later years, Sheeran reflects on his life and confesses to killings carried out for the mob, including his claimed role in the disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa.
