Waitress Dreux and artist Alyssa are best friends and roommates. Dreux dreams of a career, while Alyssa tries to sell her paintings, but their lives are a constant balance between dreams and harsh reality. When Dreux learns that Alyssa gave all their rent money to her boyfriend Keshawn, who has disappeared, the two women have just one day to get the money they need and avoid eviction.
