In June 1944, the Normandy landings are already prepared, and any delay could allow German intelligence to uncover the Allies' plans. Britain's chief meteorologist, James Stagg, must persuade the Allied command to trust his unconventional methods and alter the invasion schedule. He and his colleagues have just 72 hours to predict two approaching storms, and the fate of the entire Western Front depends on it.
