A year after the death of artist Vincent van Gogh, postman Joseph Roulin gets his son Armand to hand-deliver Vincent’s final letter to his now-late brother Theo. Armand travels to Auvers-sur-Oise and meets people who knew Vincent and may have inspired his art, gradually becoming fascinated by the painter’s troubled life and suspicious final days. As he investigates further, he realizes that Van Gogh’s fate may be less straightforward than it first seems.
