In 1981, Virginia Vallejo, a famous Colombian journalist and TV news anchorwoman, is invited to a party at Pablo Escobar’s ranch. Seduced by his charisma, she begins a passionate affair with him, even though he is married and has a family. As Escobar’s power and violence grow, Virginia comes to understand the true scale of his criminal empire and is drawn into the efforts to stop him.
