On November 9, 1989, 12-year-old Nico witnesses a violent scene at his neighbour’s house during a 72-hour electric storm and dies after being struck by a car while fleeing. Twenty-five years later, Vera Roy moves into Nico’s old house with her husband and daughter and discovers a way to communicate with him through the storm using old video equipment and a television set. After warning Nico, Vera wakes up in a parallel timeline where her life has changed completely, and she must figure out how to restore her family before the storm ends.
