13-year-old Kayla is anxious and self-conscious as she navigates the final days of eighth grade and the looming transition to high school. At home, she lives with her single father, while at school she struggles to connect with her classmates. She turns to YouTube to present herself as confident and put-together, even though in real life she has difficulty expressing her feelings and fitting in.
