Cal is a by-the-book police officer and Marine Corps reservist who is used to doing everything by the rules. When his younger half-brother Oyster accidentally kills a man in a bar fight and tries to run, Cal forces him to face the law. After Oyster receives an unfair sentence and ends up in prison, Cal begins to see that the system is not always just and decides to break him out, no matter the cost.
