A lonely, negative man stuck in a rut spends each day in the comfort of his solitude. A naughty, energetic puppy named Charlie, who is the complete opposite of him, enters his life and gives him a new perspective on it. After rescuing a stray Labrador, he reluctantly agrees to take care of the dog, and the two eventually set out on an extraordinary journey across half the country to the Himalayas to see snow for the first time.
