Claire, a 50-year-old divorced teacher, creates a fake Facebook profile of a 24-year-old woman and uses a photo she finds online. She first does it to spy on her on-and-off lover Ludo, but to reach him she contacts his friend Alex instead. Their online exchanges turn into a fake love affair, and Claire becomes emotionally involved as Alex falls for the woman she pretends to be. As the relationship deepens, she is torn between confessing the deception and risking the loss of the love she has found.
