Based on Yiftach R. Atir's novel The English Teacher, The Operative is a psychological thriller about Rachel, a young Western woman recruited by Mossad to go undercover in Tehran. As she settles into her assignment and becomes involved with the businessman she is sent to spy on, her relationship with her handler and the growing dangers of the mission push her toward a difficult choice.
