After her mother dies, commercials director Elsa throws herself into work to cope with grief. When migraine forces her to slow down, she travels to Lanzarote for a long weekend with her friend Patricia while her boyfriend Bonifacio stays in Madrid. In a parallel thread, filmmaker Raúl is writing a script inspired by Elsa, blurring the line between lived experience and fiction as personal pain becomes the basis for art.
